JoeDannyMan Multiplayer Map Remakes
JoeDannyMan is known in the Halo community for his remakes of classic maps using Halo 5's Forge tools. Here is a selection of his most notable remakes:
In October 2016, JoeDannyMan’s remake of Guardian was featured on the Forge Labs YouTube channel. In November 2016, the 1:1 remake was recognized by the ForgeHub community and veteran Halo YouTuber iKampfer, winning the ForgeHub November Community Favorites Award and iKampfer’s Halo 5: Guardians Map of the Week. After diligently polishing and optimizing the map with help from the Forge community and 343’s Sierra Team, JoeDannyMan’s map was featured in the Halo 3 Classic playlist in Halo 5 matchmaking in the fall of 2017. The map has been bookmarked over 17,000 times by Halo 5 players on Halo 5’s content browser.
JoeDannyMan’s faithful remake of Halo 2’s Ascension is the number one Ascension remake on Halo 5’s content browser, with over 16,000 bookmarks and nearly 4000 likes. JoeDannyMan didn’t stop at simply recreating the Halo 2 favorite map—he also remade the classic shotgun mini game Tower of Power. JoeDannyMan’s remake of the Halo Combat Evolved map Chill Out is the most popular and faithful-to-the-original version of the map on the Halo 5 content browser, and has been bookmarked 2,000 times. JoeDannyMan’s Chill Out was featured in 343 Industries’ Community Forge Map Showcase in January 2016 in anticipation of the widely requested Community Throwback playlist.

Who's Joe?
Joe is an engineer, designer, forger, and halo fanatic. Joe was born and raised in Festus, Missouri, and attended Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla, Missouri where he majored in Engineering Management, graduating with a B.S. in Engineering Management in December 2020. Joe currently works as a Service Coordinator for Murphy Company Mechanical Contractors in St. Louis, Missouri. Joe has been heavily involved in the Halo community from the early days of Halo 3 to Halo 5 and Halo MCC on PC. Joe is excited to see what new creative opportunities come with the release of the new-and-improved Forge mode for Halo Infinite. Joe played in the 2019 UGC Halo Classic Championship in St. Louis where he competed in the Halo 3 4v4 Slayer bracket on Joe's Beard Energy and pooped in a bathroom stall next to FlamesworD. Joe loves making forge maps, getting in a full Halo customs lobby, listening to records on vinyl, playing guitar, and vibing with his homies. Most recently, Joe has been trying out bouldering at an indoor gym near St. Louis.
